Mattel has thrown us the biggest of bones however, at this years New York Comic Con, 3 new figures were unveiled, Man At Arms and Tri Clops...and HORDAK ! Yes, Hordak, who never received a 200X figure is coming to mattycollector.com on June 15th. By hook or by crook, I will have this figure ! It is stunning. A prime example of a fan favorite character brought to life by the Four Horsemen. Another sweet deal that they pictured in prototype form is...
Teela ! Yes, the warrior woman of your dreams, and first lady of MOTU. Rumours are running rampant that the SDCC exclusive is going to be Green Goddess.
I'm looking forward to seeing this on my figure shelf ! Rawr !

*Some Highlights From The NEW YORK COMIC CON Panel *
-Mini comics may be reprinted into a graphic novel and either sold at Matty or sold in bookstores. I think they realize the fans don't want mini comics and would rather have extra heads or accessories.
-they will re-issue the core characters about 10-12 months after they're original release but with package changes. they also said they will even re-release a 3rd time if the 2nd sells out again.
-they will re-issue King Grayskull and he will be different
-the SDCC exclusive will be a beautiful figure they are very excited about. Info will be revealed in April
-Moss-Man will be flocked
-since Battle cat will be made, so will Panthor using the same sculpt
-Fisto was changed to Battle Fist because Star Wars was using the copyright for the "Kit Fisto" character
-BAF would probably be the Giants instead of a character like Modulok because they can utilize parts from other BAF bodies. For MOTU characters that have original sculpts, they would need retail help to be made. So they are hoping this can happen if the MOTU movie comes out where they can use the movie as a device to sell those types of classic figures.
-If a film comes out and previous MOTU classics are sold at retail, they will most certainly all be differentfrom the online version.
-they keep about 3% of the stock made for each character to exchange for damaged shipments. someone asked what happens if the figure is sold out online and the one he bought arrived damaged?
-no commemoratives will be released at this time
-"Team member" figures (Hordes, SM) will have the same package but with an updated sticker of the original team logo
